| With assistance from the Belarus Fund, Manjushaka performed at 14 different stages and theaters; including near
Chernobyl, where some areas still have high levels of radiation. The Nagasaki
Atomic Bomb Hospital invited the several children from Belarus to attend
the Manjushaka charity performance at the Saga Prefecture Citizen's Hall
in Japan. Over 10,000 peaple attended these performances to help raise
money for the children of Chernobyl. Since then, Manjushaka has hosted over 50 children to come stay in Japan for several weeks each summer ! |
